Chinese New Year is coming soon!! I'm feeling a little excited about it, 'cos of the angbaos that i'll be receiving. But somehow I'm not as enthusiastic as when I was young, probably because I really dread seeing the "Relatives Politics" happening every Chinese New Year. Someone will always be bitching about someone, but indirectly of course.

KCW is finally over, it wasn't a total success but I truly enjoyed the experience and I have learnt many things from it as well. I'm particularly proud of the banner that the publicity comm and me have came up with. (:

School is starting to become more hectic, with each module having at least one project. The group members for this semester are in strange combinations, because we are preallocated/ had to choose group members based on certain criteria.

Oh I've applied to SEP to Taiwan as well due to peer pressure (everyone around me has been applying for it, I felt weird if I didn't). Part of me wants to get it 'cos I think it'll be really cool to study in Taiwan, the other part of me does not want to get it 'cos it means that I'll have to understand the module mapping thingy and I can't imagine living away from my parents for 4 months. Oh wells, I'll let fate to decide then.

Sigh, I'm supposed to do my ACC2002 tutorial now. Shall go back to it....

okay first and foremost, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! (: it's a brand new year and i hope that it'll be a brand new start too (:

Korean Cultural Week 2011 will be coming in one week's time, and i'm super excited about it! (i think i'm excited about the Hanbok photoshoot where you get to try on hanboks!)

School has been sianz (as usual) and the textbooks for this sem are going to cost me a BOMB. i hope i'll be able to get some great bargains on the IVLE used textbooks forum. i also hope that someone will offer to buy my BSP1005A textbook ): i sell so cheap already still no one buy ): i seriously think there's no demand for this textbook this sem.. i guess i may have to sell it next sem instead and hopefully the texbook won't be outdated by then. =/

i wish i had more money. $_$

I've just gotten my driving license with 10 points today.
Total dmg = at least $2k.

I haven't got to calculate the actual damage yet. I should really thank god for letting me pass today. I think I'll really go siao if I still fail the 2nd time.

The tester was rather scary though, after the test he was like:
Tester: Is this your first attempt?
Me: No, it's my second attempt.
Tester: So what do you think of your driving today? (The results slip was facing down on the table so I couldn't see)
Me: Uh... *speaks softly* I think it's okay..?
Tester: Okay or good?
Me: Uh.. *speaks even softer* it's okay........
Tester: Why are you so scared? (Ok I must admit that i really have that i-am-so-freaking-nervous look on my face)
Me: Yah I'm really scared!
Tester: *flips the results slip over* And I saw the word PASSED!

Anyway, just finished doing my MNO1001 report. I really had nothing to write, so I just smoked my way through and hopefully it's convincing enough. I still have my Biz Law tutorial to do. I think I'll get started soon.

it's really difficult adapting to the new university life now. too competitive, too much focus on speaking up skills. although i believe that the latter is useful in preparing me to the working environment in the future, where speaking up = winz. if you don't speak up and make your point clear, you'll be clearly at the losing end.

i feel that the university life is slowly changing me, forcing me to do things that i do not like. i'm not sure whether if it's better that way. maybe doing things that you do not like or you'll never ever imagine yourself to do actually stretches your potential and let you discover how far you can go. maybe it'll make me stronger as a person. maybe. i don't know. i'm feeling quite reluctant of letting go of my old self.

on the bright side, i'm quite grateful that i have met some really nice friends that i feel that i can stick to. well, my class is actually separated into 2 groups, thanks to the FAC where half of my AG is in shoyru and the other half is in bruce. i'm thankful that i'm in bruce, where the people at not the 'RAHRAH' type and that they are the people whom i feel i can communicate with. i hope that it'll stay that way.

this feeling that i have now, actually reminds me of how i first felt when i joined TA. i felt lost, bombarded with work that i cannot handle, and not knowing who are the people that i can really trust. i've overcame it eventually. and i hope that i will overcome this feeling that i have right now. i'm already 19 years old. 4 years later, i'll be in the working society and that's when i'll be all alone. i've got to be prepared for it. and this is the time i can prepare myself for it.

so here am i, kicking and alive after business school's freshmen adventure camp! :D it's hard to believe that i've actually survived through the whole camp, despite it being really tiring, and surprisingly it wasn't as tough as i thought it would be.

overall, the camp was really fun, making loads of new friends and playing games (though i tried to siam-ed most of the wet games cos i hate getting myself dirty haha). the most important thing is that i've finally learnt how to bid for my modules!! (thanks to all the people that i've bombarded questions to) i've gotten my module for 1 bid point cos the timings for the lectures are terrible and no one wants it lol.

ponned the 5th day of camp as i had to go for staff gathering. staff gathering was rather fun! had my pink *ahem* princessy birthday cake from the rest and that reminds me of how long i never had a birthday cake for my birthday already. i have been choosing other things like pizza/angbaos over birthday cakes for the past few years for my birthday. haha.

anyway school starts on tues! its the first time in my 19 years that i actually have school on my birthday! first day of school somemore! and i'm only going there for a 2 hr lecture. sigh. i bet my travelling time is more than the lecture. ohwells. hope everything goes fine~ =D

i can't believe that i'm actually going for camp, with my camping bag about 90% full now, even though i really hate camps.

i supposed that's the reality -- people do change due to life circumstances.

i just hope i can survive through the whole camp.

anyway, i just got my new laptop, HP pavilion dm4 1028. i have to say that this is MUCH MUCH better than fujitsu, although i still feel a little sad when i use back my old tablet. 毕竟,我已经用了四年了,对它已充满了感情. haha. anyway it costed like $1.8k and i used my own money.. so yah, feeling the heartache now.

hmm, so i guess i'll just blog more about the details of the camp when i get back. till then!

So im going for this AGD scholarship interview later in the afternoon today. Yes I've decided to go for this interview anyway even though this is not the scholarship that I even want in the first place.

Furthermore, this scholarship is only available to NTU and SMU Accountancy and unfortunately, the only Accountancy course that I've applied to is at NUS. So, whether I'm being offered this scholarship or not won't make much a difference to me.

I shall go to the interview for experience and further prepare myself for future interviews even though i really FAIL in interviews. There's absolutely nothing to be afraid of.

Ah, I feel myself growing up a little already. (:

okay, so the much anticipated wait for the A level results is over since the release results last friday, i'm faced with one of the most important decisions of my life -- to choose my course/area of study in university.

honestly and unfortunately, i know nothing about university courses and how the system works. for example, the double degree programmes, majors and minors, and what is the difference between a bachelor's and honours' degree etc etc. this is mainly due to the fact that i haven't been reading up and researching on them as i have been concentrating solely on my A levels during the past 2 years.

other than choosing the my course/area of study, i'm also thinking of whether i choose take up on a scholarship. actually the main thing that's holding me back from trying to get a scholarship is the interviewing process. as mentioned in one of my earlier posts, i really dislike interviews as i feel that interviews often do not reflect the actual person i really am as i am often unable to express myself effectively verbally.

ohwells. shall go for the NUS open house this weekend to help myself further confirm my course/area of study. till then~

HELLO! i finally have time to blog again! :D

these past few weeks have been rather tiring for me.. i have been working at a law firm at toa payoh! yes, a law firm. i know it totally does not coincide with my area of interest (which is science) but oh wells, having a job is better than having none, and there's no harm is gaining more work experience from different sectors!

i can gladly say that my first and only work experience at this law firm is quite a pleasant one... except that the workload can get quite alot and the all the workings behind the law stuff can get too chim for my blur brain.. @_@ other than that, the people there are really nice, helpful and easy to get along with. despite making some blunders at work, nobody has really scolded me. (:

i will also be having a NEW Programme internship group interview on the 27th of Jan.. i'm seriously contemplating on whether i should go for the interview. knowing me, i really hate interviews and especially group interviews since i have a lot of bad experiences from mazarin interviews. maybe i should just try the interview out and even if i make a fool out of myself, at least i can be sure that i'll never ever get to see them again. :/

omg my napfa test!

so far, everything is well except for 2.4km run... i missed my C by 8 seconds! ): i need to get that C in order to get a gold for napfa!

had my 5 items today..
i got 33 for sit ups (omg i was like, going to die already),
40cm for sit and reach (i can feel my thighs tearing apart),
10.5s for shuttle run,
26 for inclined pull up,
and 195cm for standing broad jump! (i can never reach my target of 2m ):)

GAH. im so tired now. :/ feel like sleeping but i can't cos i have work to do )):
i lead a really sad life.

gosh, im so busy with my life that i almost forgot that my bday is coming soon already! it seems that every year, the only thing that reminds me that my bday's coming is national day. sighhh. im gna be a year older soon already. wo bu yaoooooo. ):

went to see the doctor ytd. had a slight fever and a really bad running nose.
this morning i woke up, with my nose feeling slightly better.

omg i'm so tired.
went to fareast with coco today, coco bought some stuff while i couldn't find any nice stuff to buy and also, i didn't want to spend money. my money has been disappearing at a rather high velocity, though i have no idea why. maybe it's due to my increased consumption of sweets and candies.

anw, i've got so much homework to do over the weekend, and im still sitting in front of the comp, writing this blog entry. the amount of homework that it piling up is actually taller than me. and jj would say: doesnt this always happen? gah.

haha oh and, while me and coco was on the way to bedok interchange, we saw this guy wearing this shirt that says: THE ROAD IS LONG. SO WHAT?

haaa. last day of term 1! damn happy and sad at the same time. happy bcos i'll have a one-week long break. sad bcos i'll still have tons & tons of homework to complete during the hols. i can't even recall what homework i have right now.

will be going for movie mania later! it's the 3rd year that im going for movie mania. haha. we'll be watching 5 movies, namely enchanted, pirates of the carribean, national treasure, charlie and the chocolate factory and dark water. out of these 5, i've already watched all of them before except for national treasure (which im not very interested in watching either.). basically, im just going there to sleep. haha.

okay school has just started a few days ago and i haven't got the chance/urge to blog.

so just to sum up , we had orientation for 4 days, from wed to sat. i was in Slithas 0G4! ;D had some fun for the first 3 days but was rather tiring. didn't come on the 4th day to catch the O'nite. :O anw it really sucks to go through orientation twice and in the same school somemore... =/

so so, my subj combi for this year is PCME! i dropped art cos it was too stressful and time consuming for me. (i rmb how i almost went crazy for our end of year assessment last year..) i chose physics instead of bio cos im afraid that i cant handle bio at the JC lvl.. and physics seem to be a much safer choice to me. plus, physics allows you to take more courses in the uni in the future :D:D so yea, im now in cg02/08 with 7 prcs! o_O first exposure to so many prcs.. hope my chinese will improve just in time for my chinese A lvls! hahaha. ^^

oh and, our NTU attachment is supposed to start today! but due to some erm, unforseen circumstances, it was delayed till this wed.. sighs. i want to go NTU de lor! the food there rocks! (according to "Mei Shi Da Zhuan Gong") ahahaha.

as a child, im sure that your mom has said this to you at least once: "如果你不乖，我就把你卖给banglah! (if you're not good, i'll sell you to the banglahs!)" so why are banglahs such scary human beings? let me tell you why:

just yesterday, i had an encounter with them in the bus which left me disgusted for the rest of the day. i was on the bus home from my grandma's place with parents, and my parents were sitting with each other and i was sitting alone.

so at this stop, there was this bunch of banglahs (idk why, maybe cos it was at night and they all like to go out and night) that boarded up the bus. so i was praying hard that none of them will sit beside me, cos banglahs are scary. but apparently there were not enough empty double seats so they had to sit beside somebody.

so this scrawny banglah was stumbling towards my seat, and infront of me was this chinese uncle with an empty seat beside him. so i was silently hoping that he (the banglah) will sit infront instead, but wtf, the banglah chose to sit with me. he stink like hell but i couldnt make out what the odour is made of, i just know it a combination of cheap beer + something else, probably curry.

okay so i was like "okay nvm i shall NOT be racist". so after like 1min later, the banglah started fidgeting. then he fished out his handphone from his pants, and his fucking elbow touched my waist. shocked and disgusted, i moved my body towards the window. he then called his banglah friend and talked for a few seconds. for a few moments when i thought i was safe, i saw that he was opening his legs so wide that it passed my "territory". i was glad that i had my bag to block his leg from opening even wider.

after a while, i could feel something pressing against my hips. his fucking elbow was like pressing against my hips now. okay so nvm, i squeezed myself towards the window once more. and to my fucking surprise, he actually moved towards me, with is fucking elbow pressing against my hips again. annoyed and pissed, i used my elbow to push away his elbow. and what happened next was atrocious. he was like:

"Sorry ah?!" he looked straight at me, and he fucking SMILED, flashing his sparkling white teeth.

"bastard." i thought to myself, and i pretended that i was going to alight and hurried off. but as i was going to moving out of my seat, i could feel his knees brushing against my thighs and omg, that feeling was awful.

after all the numerous encounters with banglahs spam calling my handphone, and how they all like to gather with their "comrades" and start to talk loudly despite being in the bus, or late at night, and how they would like to sit in a row beside the road and give lecherous looks to any scandily clad women (mostly china girls), i begin to wonder, does singapore really need these "foreign talent"?

heys sorry for leaving my blog stagnant for these past few weeks. i think my readership has went from less than 5 to zero already.

was busy mapling (yes, again) and auditioning after the promos. mapling has been quite tiring for me as bowman, so i think im gna quit again soon. i think im a complete failure in maple man. so yea, most probably will be chionging audition, trying to get to the clubber rank asap xD (so that people wont think that im noob and kick me out of npc battle parties). hurhur, sammi and nich eng has started playing audition too! so this time i wont be playing alone le. yay!

just got back my end of year final results today. was quite happy that i improved 0.2 from last year. considering the fact that i screwed up my end of years badly. heh. =D

ROARS. i should start planning on what to do during the school holidays already. rah.
