Hello!
FYI, I've just be labeled as 'The Invisible One' by the fellow higher art-ians yesterday.
Grr. According to them, I'm too quiet and they can actually forget about my existence. But I'm not always quiet.. I'm only quiet either when I'm thinking of something or I would rather listen to other people than to talk. Cos liddat can absorb more info mah. xD
Anyways... Mr Ho, my IS teacher told us something that I think it makes alot of sense, but hopefully, I hope that it's not true.
So he was telling us that we, the TA students, compared to the mainstreams students, we are definitely lacking of most of the basic fundamentals. And then, he says that taking O levels is the best way cos in this way we can actually ‘push’ ourselves more. And when we go up to TA3, we will find ourselves way far back behind the JC1 students because we are lacking of the fundamentals.
Come to think of it right.. we are indeed lacking of the fundamentals cos we’re not having enough practice. Yes, we are learning more things, but by not practicing frequently of what we have learnt we tend to forget things easily. I don’t see myself doing assessment books anymore ever since I come to TA. I tried to do some last year, but all the books suck and they do not have something that actually suits the IP syllabus. It's all either too simple or too tough.
Well whatever, since I’m already in this IP thingy, I shall learn to live with it and take one step at a time! (:
