had my napfa 5 items today. was quite okay. got

• 36 for sit ups (thanks denise for the good support!),
• 192cm for broad jump (glen was amazed cos my dist and height doesnt seem right when put together),
• 33cm for sit and reach (almost cried after it cos it was so damn pain, i'm kinda stiff you see),
• 24 for pull ups (could have broken the record, which is 26, with 2 more pull ups),
• 11.11secs for shuttle run (wanted to retest, but after i found out i got A i dont care anymore. XD).

so overall it is quite okay. as long as i dont fail my 2.4km next week (which is highly LIKELY that i would, somehow), i might clinch a gold. yippeee~


oh and, ms ng told us our term 3 LA marks. the range within the class is kinda disastrous. imagine this:

x is bigger or equals to 4 but smaller or equals to 64. (okay i can't do the inequality sign bcos blogger screwed up and i had to repair this post bcos the tag is broken)

i failed my overall as usual. it's kinda predictable. if you look at my assignments it's like i only passed 1% of them. so add them together i still fail. and my MOV quiz! i got the most wonderful marks ever, ever, in my whole life after the general knowledge quiz which i got 6 marks for. for MOV quiz, i got a 3/30! even though that quiz carries only a small percentage, i bet it still pulled down my overall by loads. gahh. i even laughed at my own stupidity.

anyway just for your info i got 46/100 for my LA overall.
okay this can be either bad or good.

bad is that i failed.
good is that, if you look at the range of values of x, it states that x is bigger or equals to 4 but smaller or equals to 64. so

case 1
64-4=60
60/2=30
30+4=34

tada!~ the mean is 34! and i got 46! which is 12 marks above the mean!

case 2
and assuming that there are 60 people in the class and each of them got different marks between 4 to 64, then

46-4=42^
^assuming x is bigger than 0 but smaller than 60
42/60 * 100=70%

ooh! i'm actually in the top 70%!

okay. whatever whatever. this is what we call self-consolation. and my above calculations may be screwed up becos i'm assuming too many things. so yea, dont take it seriously. haha.
